Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach  (Mar. 8, 1714 - Dec. 14, 1788) 

ドイツの作曲家。ヨハン・セバスチャン・バッハの次男。名付け親はゲオルク・フィリップ・テレマン。大学で法律を学んだ後、音楽家への道を進む。

若いうちからプロイセンのフリードリヒ２世に愛された恵まれた作曲家。当時まだ普及し始めたばかりのクラビーア（ピアノの前身）演奏の巨匠として世間に知られた。
